
Blitz Make Deal with Manchester

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield Blitz have made a trade that will send QB Alex Neist (Minnesota, '00) to the Manchester Wolves in exchange for OL/DL Brandon Harston (Minnesota, '04).
Neist split time at quarterback with Chad Elliott (Syracuse, '01) in the first game of 2007 against the Laredo Lobos. Neist was 7-12 for 149 yards, two touchdowns and one interception and was named as the Schutt Offensive Player of the Game.
Harston, a 6'3, 310 lbs lineman, has yet to play for Manchester this season.
Head Coach Gary Compton (East Texas State University, '90) will be available to speak with the media regarding roster moves and the team's upcoming game against the Tri-Cities Fever on Monday, April 9 at 3:00 p.m. at the Blitz Offices (515 E. Finally, the Blitz will be practicing at Bakersfield College (1801 Panorama Dr., Bakersfield, CA, 93305) this week in preparation for their game against Tri-Cities. Practices will be held Monday through Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
