Utah Blaze News Release

SALT LAKE CITY - Utah Blaze Quarterback Tommy Grady (6-7, 245, Utah) will be attending a private workout with the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. The Miami Dolphins contacted Blaze Head Coach Ron James on Sunday to obtain a workout release.

The Dolphins lost two quarterbacks last week due to injuries and are looking to fill the position quickly with a game Thursday night against the Chicago Bears.

"This is a great opportunity for Tommy and reflects the talent we have been bringing in for the 2011 season," said Head Coach Ron James. "We wish him the best in his workout and are proud of all of his hard work he has done in order to achieve this invitation."

Grady, a former University of Utah quarterback was the first signing by the Blaze during the 2011 free agency period. He will be placed on the Arena Football League's Other League Exempt List until a final decision has been made.
