SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze are pleased to announce their support of the Foundation Fighting Blindness and participation in the 2010 Utah Vision Walk. The Utah Vision Walk will be taking place Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Sugarhouse Park.
Registration for the event is at 8 a.m. with the walk beginning at 9 a.m. Fans wishing to make a donation can make an online contribution to their player of choice walking in the event or the Utah Blaze team. Blaze QB Michael Affleck, WR Akamu Aki and WR/DB Aaron LeSue, in addition to the Timpanogos Harley Davidson Blaze Dancers, will be participating in the walk. The Foundation Fighting Blindness is a national eye research organization that is dedicated to raising funds to drive research that will provide preventions, treatments and cures for people affected by the entire spectrum of retinal degenerative diseases. The funds raised by this event will be directly contributed to scientific research at leading universities and research institutes across the country.
The Blaze will be taking on the Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings this Friday, April 30, 2010 with kickoff at 7 p.m. Single-game tickets can be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com. Group and season tickets are also available by calling 888-99BLAZE or information can be found at www.utblaze.com.
