GAME NOTES

The Blaze offense was lethargic late in the second half after exhausting its energy chasing Chesapeake from behind. The offense caught up to the Bayhawks, but could not keep up with the high octane scoring. Atlanta was without a key playmaker, Randy Staats, for most of the game and will look to figure out the offense in his absence. There have been notable performances from Brendan Sunday and Colton Jackson as they navigation through their first seasons here in Major League Lacrosse. New York will be coming into the game high-spirited after a 13-9 win over the Dallas Rattles- their first of the season.
