
Two Players Suspended for Fighting

At the 10:20 mark in the second quarter of the Atlanta Blaze at the Chesapeake Bayhawks game on July 6, 2019, Randy Staats of the Atlanta Blaze and Warren Jeffrey of the Chesapeake Bayhawks, were involved in an altercation and were subsequently ejected from the game.
Upon review of the incident, it has been determined by MLL's Director of Player Safety and Discipline, that effective immediately, both players will serve a one(1) game suspension.
Major League Lacrosse is 100% committed to the health and safety of its players. The league does not condone fighting of any kind. As a result, incidents involving fighting will be addressed swiftly and severely.
