Blaze Fired Up With Signing Of Pat Lee

The Chicago Blaze are proud to announce the signing of local pro Pat Lee of Schaumberg, Illinois. Terms of the contract are not released. The 25 year old, 5 ‘9", 180 Lee, will begin his first season of play for both Chicago and in the AAHL after finishing last season with the Amarillo Gorillas in the AA Central Hockey League. Lee, who hails from the Chicago area and played his Junior hockey with the Springfield Junior Blues is excited to be returning home to play pro hockey and is welcoming the challenge of being one of the leaders of this years Blaze squad. About the projected number one center team owner Aaron Mattey comments, "Pats' presence and skill on the ice and his familiarity in the community were exactly what this franchise was looking for. Lee is expected to be a leader down the middle for us and one of our top players. With his proven experience we are expecting Pat to be one of the leagues best and a fan favorite.

In addition to his ice hockey prowess, Pat is an accomplished roller hockey player. Lee has suited up and represented his country for Team USA in the IIHF Championships 5 times and starred for team Mission Bauer for 6 seasons in the professional roller hockey league.

Come meet Pat and the other Blaze players as they to take to the ice on October 12th for training camp. All sessions are free and open to the public at West Meadows Arena.
