GAME NOTES
Heading into the last week of the regular season, both teams' positions in the standings are secured. The Blaze will head into the playoffs as the fourth and final playoff team, and will take on either Boston, Chesapeake, or Denver in the semifinals on October 4th. The Lizards sit in last place in MLL and will have the rights to the #1 overall pick in the 2020 MLL Draft. The last time the Blaze were in New York, a Bryan Cole game-winner in overtime eliminated the Lizards from playoff contention.

The key matchup in this game will be stopping Lizards attackman Rob Pannell and company from getting comfortable on offense. Faceoff specialist Alex Woodall could also play an important factor in this one, as the possessions he wins could be the difference between winning and losing in a game that should be a close one throughout. Alex's goal late in the game last time in New York was the momentum Atlanta needed to push the game into overtime and eventually secure the victory.
