Blast to Participate in First Annual Showcase Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS, IN-The Blast will be playing their fourth pre-season match this Saturday, April 12th at 8:00pm as part of the first annual Showcase Indiana. The event will take place at Kuntz Stadium located at 1502 W. 16th street. Showcase Indiana is a day-long event in which some of the best soccer from across Indiana will be on display. Tickets are only available the day of the event and are $5 for an all-day pass. All proceeds will go to support the Urban Soccer Development Program sponsored by the Indianapolis Parks & Recreation Department.
The Blast will be facing Notre Dame as the feature game of the entire event. With less than three weeks before the Blast kick off their season on the road against the Richmond Kickers, the Blast have won all their pre-season games thus far. On Thursday the Blast traveled to IU and beat the Hoosiers 2-1. Saturday the Blast faced off against the Indiana Invaders in South Bend, IN and came home with a 2-1 victory.
