Blast to Hold Controlled Scrimmages

INDIANAPOLIS, IN-The Indiana Blast, in preparation of their upcoming season, will hold two controlled scrimmages in the coming week. The Blast will take on the University of Butler Thursday, April 11th, 6:00pm at Brandywine Park in Greenfield.

The Blast will then scrimmage Ohio State University Sunday, April 14th, 2:00pm at Abner Longley Park in Lebanon. Preceding the scrimmage the Blast will hold a pre-game clinic from 12:30-1:30pm Youth players are encouraged to come out and learn from the pros.

Other Scrimmage News

The Blast played IUPUI to a 1-1 tie Saturday April 6th at the Brownsburg Soccer Complex. James Prosser scored the only goal for the Blast in the first of three-thirty minute periods. IUPUI equalized in the second period and both teams were held scoreless in the third.

The Blast will be holding several player clinics over the next few weeks. Roster Updates

The Blast have resigned goalkeeper Josh Lynk for the 2002 season. Lynk is in his second year with the Blast. Originally from Fargo, ND, Lynk played in eight games last year and started four ending the season with a 2.81 GAA.
