Blast Invite Youth Soccer Players to Attend Match Free

INDIANAPOLIS-The next home game for the Blast is Tuesday, June 4th, 7:35pm at Kuntz Memorial Stadium. For the first time in their six-year history, the Blast will be taking on the Vancouver Whitecaps and it's YOUTH SOCCER NIGHT!! Youth soccer players under the age of 18 get in FREE by wearing their team jersey. Gates open at 6:30pm, so come early for the pre-game pizza party sponsored by Circle City Pizza. The event is also sponsored by Eurosport and SBC Ameritech Yellow and White Pages.

LAST WEEK-The Indiana Blast, who looked to add to their two game winning streak, dropped two matches on the road this past weekend. The Blast were defeated by the Minnesota Thunder 2-0 on Saturday night. The match doubled as the second leg of the Lamar Hunt Open Cup in which the Blast lost by an aggregate score of 3-2. On Sunday the Blast visited the Milwaukee Rampage and came up short 3-0.

THIS WEEK-After taking Memorial Day off, the Blast are back at practice the entire week. Training sessions are open to both the public and the media. Contact MorSports, Inc. for practice times and venues.

UPCOMING MATCHES-The Blast head to Cincinnati Friday night, May 31st at 7:30pm (ET) to take on intra-divisional rival the Cincinnati Riverhawks. This will be the first of four matches between these two clubs during the 2002 season. In 2001, the Blast were 2-2 against the Riverhawks.

MLS EXHIBITION MATCH-The Chicago Fire of the MLS will be coming to Kuntz Stadium to take on your hometown Indiana Blast in an exhibition match on Tuesday, June 18th at 7:35pm. Discounted tickets can be purchased in advance through June 4th. Advanced tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth under 18. For tickets or more information, contact MorSports, Inc.

UPCOMING APPEARANCES-Blast players will be making an appearance at Celebrations Banquet Facilities for the ATA company picnic on Saturday, June 1st from 11:00am-1:00pm.
