
Blast Head to the Border to Battle the Patriots

INDIANAPOLIS-The Blast (3-6) will be flying out Saturday morning to El Paso, TX where they will do battle with the El Paso Patriots (1-4-4) Saturday night at 8:35 CST. The Blast will be looking for their second win on the road of the 2002 season.
The Blast will be at home again on Saturday, June 15th at 7:35pm against the Seattle Sounders. This will be the first of three matches against the undefeated Sounders throughout the 2002 season. It's Red/White/Blue Bunny night so wear your patriotic attire and save $1 on admission. It's also ATA "Win a Trip" night where fans can win two roundtrip tickets to Seattle to see the Blast play on July 6th. All home games are played at Indy Parks' Kuntz Memorial Stadium located at 1502 W. 16th street.
LAST WEEK-The Indiana Blast played a nearly flawless first half on Tuesday evening against the Vancouver Whitecaps. However, the second half was not the same picture. The Blast gave up three goals in the second half and fell to the visiting Whitecaps 4-1 in front of a crowd of 2,287.
THIS WEEK-Blast are back at practice today and tomorrow before taking off for El Paso on Saturday. Training sessions are open to both the public and the media. Contact MorSports, Inc. for practice times and venues.
UPCOMING MATCHES-The Blast head to El Paso, TX Saturday to take on the El Paso Patriots in a match scheduled for an 8:35pm CST kick-off.

MLS EXHIBITION MATCH-The Chicago Fire of the MLS will be coming to Kuntz Stadium to take on your hometown Indiana Blast in an exhibition match on Tuesday, June 18th at 7:35pm. Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for youth under 18. For tickets or more information, contact MorSports, Inc.
UPCOMING PRESS CONFERENCE-The Blast will be holding a press conference with the Chicago Fire on June 18th at 2:00pm. The press conference will be held at Mongolian Barbeque at 3838 East 82nd Street. Players and coaches from both teams will be on hand to answer questions from the press. Press members will also receive lunch compliments of Mongolian Barbeque.
UPCOMING APPEARANCES-Blast players will be making an appearance on June 12th at Lunch on the Circle sponsored by WENS from 11am-1pm.
