Blast Announces 2003 Schedule and Ticket Information

INDIANAPOLIS, IN-The Indiana Blast A-League Professional Soccer team announced their 2003 regular season schedule today. Their season will open at Richmond, VA on Friday, April 25th at 7:00pm ET against the Richmond Kickers. The Blast's home opener will be Friday, May 9th at 7:35pm CT as they host Central Division rival the El Paso Patriots. The match will also double as the first leg of 2003 Open Cup qualifying.

The Blast will play a 28 game regular season schedule that will end with a home game on Sunday, August 31st against the Milwaukee Wave United, the 2002 A-League champions formerly known as the Milwaukee Rampage. Throughout the season the Blast will strive to qualify for the Western Conference Tournament where whey will have a chance to advance to the A-League Championship game.

During the regular season the Blast will play all but two home games on the weekends with five games scheduled on Friday evenings, three games on Saturday evenings, and four on Sunday afternoons. On Tuesday, June 3rd the Blast will host their second annual TOBACCO FREE event and Wednesday, July 3rd will be Christian Night where youth groups and churches are encouraged to bring their communities to the Blast game for a night of fun. All games will be played at Kuntz Memorial Stadium, which is located at 1502 W. 16th Street in Indianapolis. Kuntz Stadium is an Indy Parks facility. All visiting teams will enjoy the comfort and luxury of the Indianapolis Athletic Club, the host hotel of the Blast for 2003. Season tickets priced at $112 per adult include 14 open-dated tickets and a VIP parking pass. Season tickets for students (under 18) priced at $56 include 14 open-dated tickets and a $10 discount on any 2003 Indiana Blast Soccer Camp. You can save even more by purchasing the "Family Pack" tickets which includes two Adult and two Student season passes for just $325. Season tickets represent substantial savings over the already-low game-day prices of $9 per adult and $5 per student (under 18).
