Maryland Black Bears News Release
The Maryland Black Bears secured the NAHL tender of Forward Reid Leibold for the 2019-20 season. The signing continues the Black Bears focus on recruiting the best local hockey talent. The 5'11, 168 pound Forward is from Ashburn, Virginia and has previously played with the Washington Little Caps, Team Black, and Team Red.
Leibold currently plays at the prestigious prep hockey school, the Northwood School. The Northwood School is currently ranked #5 at the U18 level. At only 17, Leibold has already seen plenty of individual success. He has been selected to numerous USA Hockey's National Development Camps and has already committed to playing Division I hockey with the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
