
Garrett Dahm Commits to Division I Mercyhurst University

AUSTIN, Minn. - Bruins forward Garrett Dahm announced his commitment to Mercyhurst University on Monday the team announced. Dahm will begin play for the Mercyhurst Lakers (Division I - AHA) during the 2020-21 season.
The Swansea, IL, native currently ranks third on the team in points this season with 25, nine goals and 16 assists. Throughout his entire NAHL career, all of which has been spent in Austin, Dahm has accumulated 36 total points in 91 games.
"It's always been my lifelong dream to play Division I hockey", said the 6-foot-1 forward. "The coaching staff and players were all super nice and welcoming to me when I went on my visit. Also, the coaches believe in me very heavily to come in as a freshman and make an impact right away".
Dahm becomes the seventh player currently on the Bruins roster to have committed. Brett Miller (RPI), Dylan Davies (RPI), Carson Riddle (Western Michigan), Che Landikusic (Lake Superior State), Arvid Henrikson (Lake Superior State), and Levi Stauber (Michigan Tech).
The Bruins hit the road for their next five games before returning to Riverside Arena on February 2, 2019, against the Minnesota Magicians. Tickets for that game, the annual Paint the Rink Pink game, are on sale now at all the Bruins vendors including Games People Play, Hy-Vee, Holiday Inn, and Jim's Marketplace.
