Today's Game:
The Buffalo Bisons host the Norfolk Tides in the first game a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The Herd is coming off a four-game series split with the Louisville Bats. The Bisons are 8-6 in 14 home games this season.
vs. the Tides
The Bisons were 3-5 against the Tides last season, including a four-game split at Coca-Cola Field. Since 1998, Buffalo is 72-44 against the Tides, good for a .621 winning percentage. The Bisons are 34-22 all time against the Tides at Coca-Cola Field.
On the Hill
RHP DAVE BUSH will make his fifth start of the season today. The veteran allowed just one run on six hits in six innings of a victory in Rochester on April 30. Bush has not allowed more than two earned runs in any of his four starts. The righty has also walked just four batters in 22.1 innings of work.
JIM NEGRYCH
The league's best hitter is heating up again. Jim Negrych has five hits in his last nine at-bats and has hit four straight contests. Overall, the infielder has hit in 18 of his 21 games this year with 10 multi-hit performances. Negrych's .420 batting average is 44 points better than any hitter in the International League.
Topping the Charts
Along with Negrych, the Bisons have four of the top eight averages in the IL. C JOSH THOLE (.361) ranks 4th in the league with INF LUIS JIMENEZ (.360) right behind. OF MOISES SIERRA is 8th in the IL with his .354 batting average. Buffalo continues to hit .305 as a team.
Ryan Langerhans
OF RYAN LANGERHANS has homered in back-to-back games and now has six homers in his last 12 contests. His six homers are the most on the Bisons. The outfielder has reached base safely in 17 of his 20 games this season and is hitting .333 (4-12) with RiSP and two outs.

OF ANTHONY GOSE (23) leads the league in runs scored...RHP NEIL WAGNER has allowed just two hits in his last eight appearances (8.0 IP, 12 SO)...INF EUGENIO VELEZ stole his team-leading fifth base of the season yesterday...When C JOSH THOLE is behind the plate, Bisons pitchers are 15-3 with a 3.87 ERA.
Toronto (11-21) scored a 10-2 victory over the Mariners on Sunday afternoon. OF MELKY CABRERA homered as part of his three-hit day and former Bisons INF MUNENORI KAWASAKI had two hits and two RBI. The Blue Jays begin a roadtrip tonight in Tampa Bay (7:10 p.m.).
