Birdsong moves up with Gwizzlies

Blake Britton-Birdsong has accepted the position of Senior Vice-President of Operations for the Gwinnett Gwizzlies. She will manage the day to day operations of the front office of the franchise.
Birdsong has a background as an accountant and insurance and handles all the insurance needs for the Gwizzlies. She has a passion for basketball and is very knowledgeable in running a sports franchise. Her son Dejon is the "Little Gwizzlies" for the team and her daughter is the "Little Gwizzliette" for the team.
Birdsong will be one of the highest ranking women in men professional basketball.
