Biloxi King Cakes Make First Appearance as Shuckers Return Home

BILOXI, MS - The Biloxi Shuckers return to Shuckers Ballpark for their first of two homestands in May after a two-week road trip to Pensacola, Florida and Kodak, Tennessee. The Shuckers will welcome in the Montgomery Biscuits, the Double-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. The Shuckers previously took two of three in a series against the Biscuits on Opening Weekend, including an 8-7 walk-off win on Opening Day. Fans are encouraged to stay after every game for Kids Run the Bases presented by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi.

TUESDAY, MAY 7, 6:05 p.m.

The Shuckers open the series with Brew Crew Tuesday presented by Coors Light. Fans can purchase a 20oz souvenir tumbler for $13 with $7 refills at the first and third-base Beer Gardens. The first 250 fans will also receive a Halfway to Halloween Shuckers T-Shirt presented by Daigle's A/C & Heating LLC.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 8, 11:05 p.m.

The Shuckers will host their annual Education Day with local schools in attendance from around the Coast with a special 11:05 a.m. start! It's also Military Wednesday presented by Keesler Federal Credit Union where all military personnel can receive a $3 discount on Dugout Box and Reserved Level tickets.

THURSDAY, MAY 9, 6:35 p.m.

Fans can splash into the weekend with Thirsty Thursday presented by PBR, Coca-Cola and Kicker108! Fans can enjoy $2 PBR bottles, drafts, hot dogs and Coca-Cola products. There are also $4 draft beer specials on Miller Lite and Coors Light at the first and third-base Beer Gardens. FRIDAY, MAY 10, 6:35 p.m.

Join the Shuckers for the best fireworks show on the Coast with a Fireworks Friday presented by Goodr! Fireworks will begin shortly after the final out is recorded. Fans can also check in with their seat location for a chance to win a pair of Goodr sunglasses every half-inning! Kids Run the Bases presented by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi will follow fireworks.

SATURDAY, MAY 11, 6:05 p.m.

For the first time in franchise history, the Shuckers will debut an alternate identity! The Shuckers will become the Biloxi King Cakes for the night, including specialty hats, jerseys and a Mardi Gras theme at the ballpark. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Mardi Gras bead necklace with a King Cakes medallion presented by Corona Premier. The Shuckers will also make a donation to Veteransville, a local military organization, before the game through the team's Heart of a Shucker Community Fund.

SUNDAY, MAY 12, 1:05 p.m.

The Shuckers finish the homestand with Fun Day Sunday on Mother's Day! The first 500 fans will receive a Shuckers silicone wine glass. Players will also wear special pink accessories to celebrate Mother's Day. The first 125 fans will receive a special Shuckers poster presented by Mele Printing and pregame autographs will be available. Fans can also have a catch on the field and run the bases following the game. Fans can save over 35% with a Fun Day Sunday package that includes a Reserved Level seat and a voucher for a hot dog, chips and a soda or water for only $19 per person with a four-person minimum.
