February 10, 2010 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Billings Outlaws News Release

The Billings Outlaws are teaming up with the Billings Food Bank to fight hunger in the Billings area.

"We're calling this season long fundraiser with the Food Bank, 'Blackout Hunger.' " says Outlaws GM Adam Steadman. "We're going to be collecting food donations throughout the 2010 season and we will end the campaign with a 'Blackout Hunger' event at our last regular season game on June 19 against the Tri-Cities Fever. Blackout Hunger t-shirts will be available for purchase after the first Outlaws game on Sunday, February 28th at 4:00 pm. For our last game, we want to see 9,000 fans wearing those shirts!"

The fundraiser officially kicks off at the 2010 FanFest on February 20th at the Billings Sports Plex.

"Doors open at 5:30 and we're asking everyone to bring a canned food item to begin the campaign." Steadman says that season ticket holders will be able to pick up their 2010 tickets at FanFest and fans will be treated to a special, preseason football game as well.

"We're bringing the Great Falls Gladiators to Billings for a preseason battle that will help us prepare for our season opener against the Kent Predators on Sunday, February 28th. Fans will be able to meet the 2010 Outlaws and will also watch a great game!"

The Gladiators play in the Rocky Mountain Football League and have been playing adult, tackle football in Great Falls for 9 years.

FanFest 2010 will also feature food, team store specials and fun for the whole family!
