
Bighorns, NBA and the NBA D-League Extend Youth Fit Challenge

RENO, Nev.- The Reno Bighorns, the NBA and the NBA Development League are teaming up for a local youth fitness challenge at the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows on Sept. 5.
This unique event will provide Northern Nevada youth with a fun and exciting way to show off their fitness skills, with competition, prizes and more. The winners of this and other local and regional competitions will have the opportunity to advance to the national competition, to be held at the 2009-2010 NBA All-Star Game in Dallas, where they will test their abilities against the nation's most fit youth.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Sept 5, and will be immediately followed by the Bighorns Youth Basketball Camp. The youth fitness challenge is free to all participants.
