RENO, NEV., March 19, 2014 - The Reno Bighorns would like to congratulate our very own Elyssa Brock on her call up to the Philadelphia 76ers. Brock will join the 76ers as an Account Executive next week.

Brock joined the Bighorns in September 2012 as an Account Executive, after graduating from the University of Vermont with a degree in Business Administration. She was promoted to Senior Account Executive in September 2013, attributing her promotion and success to her positive attitude.

"We are very excited and happy for Elyssa as she receives her "Call Up" to the NBA," said Reno Bighorns owner, Herb Santos, Jr. "The NBA Development League is not only designed for the advancement of players. Coaches, referees, trainers and front office staff members are all eligible candidates for development into the NBA. The Bighorns have developed some of the NBA's biggest stars (Jeremy Lin, Danny Green) and now we can add Elyssa to this list. Her experiences here in Reno will help make her a success in Philadelphia. From the basketball court to the front office, the Reno Bighorns will continue to develop tomorrow's talent for the NBA. I know that our community and the Reno Bighorns Family wish Elyssa the best. We are excited to watch her as she continues her growth as a superior sports business executive."

"I am excited about this new opportunity, but sad to say good bye to the Bighorns. The staff, customers and fans have become a part of my family and have helped make my professional dreams come true. I am excited to advance my sports career in the NBA.". Elyssa can be reached through email at ebrock43@gmail.com.

Her last game with the Reno Bighorns was on Tuesday, March 18th at 7pm. Elyssa was recognized on the court during the game for her contributions to the Bighorns organization.
