Big Win Ventures, the owners of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers af2 football team, confirmed media reports today (Wednesday) that it has offered to manage the AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons baseball team.
Big Win stated that there are definite synergies between the Pioneers and Red Barons. Big Win is committed to keeping the Red Barons and the Pioneers in Northeast Pennsylvania. Big Win is actively looking at other business opportunities in the region.
Big Win Ventures is a sports ownership and management company which currently owns the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers who have made the playoffs in the past three consecutive years and had a 9-7 record in the 2006 campaign.
