LAFAYETTE, INDIANA - Friday Night, the Aviators in conjunction with the Latino Center for Wellness & Education, is hosting the first ever Hispanic Heritage Night at Loeb Stadium. Both the Aviators and the Clinton Lumberkings will be wearing special Hispanic Heritage jerseys, with the Aviators' jerseys being auctioned off for to benefit the Community Cancer Network.
Pre-game there will be a performance by the Ballet Mosacis. On Friday, Loeb Stadium will also feature specialty concession items, such as tacos from the 6th Street Dive, churros and a unique selection of beers. Gates open at 6:00 pm with the first pitch at 7:00.
On Saturday, the Aviators will host their 2nd annual Street Fest, from 2:00 - 6:00, on Wallace Ave and 24th St. The Street Fest will feature several local food trucks, along with live music, games for the kids and autographs from the Aviators players. The Aviators team store and box office will also be open.
Following the Street Fest, the Aviators will host the Clinton Lumberkings at 7:00, with gates opening at 5:30. The first 250 kids at Saturday 's game receive an Aviators navy replica jersey courtesy of Franciscan Health and News 18.
