Big T Foundation and Big Fav Ent. Bringing Holiday Joy To Local Children

NEW ORLEANS (December 5, 2012) - The Big T Foundation, Big Fav Ent. and I Know Ya Heard Me Ent. present the 2nd Annual Holiday Toy Drive, announced the VooDoo front Office Tuesday, December 5th.
"Being a successful person isn't always about what you're doing to become successful," said New Orleans VooDoo DL Marlon Favorite. "It's about how hard you are willing to work and what you are driving to give back to your community."
Marlon Favorite is putting on a Holiday Toy Drive for those less fortunate children in poverty ridden neighborhoods. Favorite grew up on the West Bank and would love nothing more than to be able to give back to his home town and many more.
"This is my Christmas present each year, the looks on the kid's faces is just a beautiful thing," said Favorite. "We are going to enter as many low income and poverty ridden areas that we can on both sides of the river."
The Toy Drive is sponsored by the New Orleans VooDoo, Big T Foundation, Nacho Mamas Elmwood, and WTXG Talk Radio. Drop off locations include:
- Nacho Mama's Elmwood, 1000 S Clearview Pkwy, Harahan
- The New Orleans VooDoo front office, 1515 Poydras, New Orleans
- Bounce-De-Lis, 4001 General De Gaulle Ste K, New Orleans
- Villalobos Pit Bull Rescue Center, 4525 N. Claiborne Ave.New Orleans, LA 70117
The last day to drop off toys to these locations will be Wednesday, December 19th. There will also be a Toy Drive Party on Thursday, December 20th at Nacho Mama's in Elmwood that will include door prizes and raffles. The cost to enter will be $15 or a toy for a child. Doors open at 8:30 pm and the party will be held from 9pm-12am.
The New Orleans VooDoo Dolls and Mascots (Bones and Mojo) will be at the party to support Big Fav and the Holiday Toy Drive.
