
Big Events Planned for Aviators Final Homestand

LAFAYETTE, IN - The Aviators begin their final homestand of the season Tuesday night at 7:00 with National Night Out presented by the Lafayette Police Department. It's an evening full of fun activities, giveaways and opportunities for folks of all ages to interact with public safety personnel. A street fair will be held from 4:30-6:30pm on Wallace Avenue outside Loeb Stadium where Aviators patrons can tour various police vehicles, meet community heroes, and try the National Guard rock wall.
During Tuesday's game, local hero Nick Bostic will be honored plus there will be friendly competitions and games during between inning breaks throughout the evening featuring local first responders.
Wednesday the Aviators take the field against the Danville Dans at 7:00. It will be a great night to check out the Aviators game worn jerseys which will be on sale through Saturday. For the first time ever, the official jerseys the players have worn since the inaugural season are available for purchase via both auction and 'buy now' in the Aviators gift shop.
Thursday at 7:00 is the final Thirsty Thursday of the season presented by People's Brewing Company.
All domestic and craft beer at Loeb Stadium is $2 off during Thursday's game. Teays River Brewing is the featured craft beer at the ballpark for this Thirsty Thursday. Also, the 6th Street Dive will be on site fixing their unique Hoosier Texan menu.
Saturday is Fan Appreciation Day with numerous prizes given away throughout the game. Arrive early as Indianapolis Skydive will be doing a pre- National Anthem jump into the stadium. And remember, it's the final day of the jersey auction and fans last chance to say 'good bye' to their 2022 Lafayette Aviators.
