Bibbs Named to USL Team of the Week

ST. LOUIS - Defender Nick Bibbs has earned USL Team of the Week honors after contributing at both ends of the field in Saint Louis FC's 1-0 victory over Toronto FC II last Saturday.
The Philadelphia native set up the game-winning goal late in the first half before helping to preserve his team's fourth shutout of the season.
In the 39th minute, Bibbs beat his defender and sent a low cross into the box intended for Charles Renken. Toronto's Marcus Godinho looked to clear but ended up deflecting the pass into his own net.
Toronto's own-goal put STL FC up 1-0 going into halftime, and Bibbs' contributions at the back helped Saint Louis maintain its lead for the full 90 minutes.
Bibbs, 24, has appeared in nine league games for STL FC, making four starts. He is the fourth Saint Louis FC player to land USL Team of the Week honors this season.
Saint Louis FC will be back in action Saturday when it returns home to face Oklahoma City Energy FC at World Wide Technology Soccer Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
