
Bethlehem Steel FC Announces Finalized 2019 Regular-Season Schedule

CHESTER, Pa. - Bethlehem Steel FC, in conjunction with USL Championship, have announced the team's finalized 2019 regular-season schedule. This year's home schedule features matches against every Eastern Conference club. Steel FC also intends to play two fixtures in the Lehigh Valley, with further details to be announced when available.
Home-matches of note for Bethlehem Steel FC's include the club's home-opener, which will take place on Saturday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m. ET when the club hosts North Carolina FC at Talen Energy Stadium. Steel FC will also participate in a Union-Steel double-header on April 20, with Philadelphia Union hosting the Montreal Impact at 1:00 p.m. ET and the Steel hosting Indy Eleven at 4:00 p.m. ET. Talen Energy Stadium will also host the stadium's earliest-ever weekday-kickoff when Steel FC hosts Hartford Athletic on Tuesday, July 30, with kickoff taking place at 12:30 p.m. ET.
There are four 2019-expansion clubs in total joining the Eastern Conference, including Birmingham Legion FC, Hartford Athletic, Loudon United FC and Memphis 901 FC. Steel FC will face Birmingham on Saturday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. ET in the club's first regular-season match of 2019. The club will also host Memphis 901 FC at Talen Energy Stadium on Sunday, March 24 at 6:00 p.m. ET for the inaugural meeting between the two clubs, with the club's first meetings against Loudon United FC (May 3 | 7:30 p.m. ET) and Hartford Athletic (June 29 | 7:00 p.m. ET) happening away from home.
Steel FC is currently slated to play a total of six home matches in May and June. The club will host Atlanta United FC 2 (May 12 | 7:30 p.m. ET), Ottawa Fury FC (May 19 | 6:00 p.m. ET) and Louisville City FC (May 26 | 2:00 p.m. ET) at Talen Energy Stadium, before travelling to face New York Red Bulls II at MSU Soccer Park on May 31 at 7:00 p.m. ET. The club will then return to Talen Energy Stadium to face Nashville SC (June 9 | 6:00 p.m. ET), Saint Louis FC (June 15 | 7:30 p.m. ET) and Tampa Bay Rowdies (June 22 | 7:30 p.m. ET).
Bethlehem Steel FC will finish the 2019 regular season on a three-match road trip, with the final match coming against Charleston Battery on Saturday, October 19 at MUSC Health Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET. Steel FC wraps up the club's 2019 home matches at Talen Energy Stadium against Charlotte Independence earlier that month on Sunday, October 6 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
The second part of Bethlehem Steel FC's preseason schedule and a promotional schedule will be announced in the near future.
