The ABA Gwinnett Gwizzlies officials say they are the best thing to hit Georgia in pro sports since the Atlanta Braves Tomahawk chop. People are singing and dancing and saying "Get Gwizzy".
The new ABA expansion franchise has stepped up its sponsorship drive in an effort to cover all its needs and services for the upcoming 2004-05 basketball season. The Gwizzlies organization want to model their efforts after European and Asian pro league teams who have sponsors as their primary source of capital to operate their franchises.
Interested persons or companies can become sponsors and "Get Gwizzy",by going on the franchise site www.thegwinnettgwizzlies.com.
