Bees Back In The Hive For Kids Night

HIDALGO, Texas - The Killer Bees will be competing against the Lone Star Brahmas for the fifth time this season on Kids Night, Saturday, October 19 at 7:05 p.m. at the State Farm Arena. Admission will be free for children 12 and under.

The Bees are on the right track as they clenched second place in the South Division from gaining 4 points on the road against the Wichita Falls Wildcats. The team now has a record of 7 - 3 - 4. Forward Ben Greiner ranks fifth in the NAHL in scoring with 13 points. Goalie Olli Kalkaja ranks tenth in the NAHL in goalie leader with a GAA (Goals Against Average) of 1.94.

The Lone Star Brahmas currently stand sixth in the division with a record of 2 - 9 - 1. Forward AJ Duggan leads the team in scoring with 5 goals. Goalie Jacob Nehama leads the team in saves with 171.

The next home game after this weekends' series will be against the Amarillo Bulls on Friday, October 25 at 7:05 p.m. at the State Farm Arena. The NAHL consists of 24 teams split into 4 divisions. The RGV Killer Bees competes in the biggest division which is the South division and includes 7 teams, the Amarillo Bulls, Corpus Christi IceRays, Odessa Jackalopes, Lone Star Brahmas, Topeka RoadRunners and the Wichita Falls Wildcats.
