Bears to hold auditions for National Anthem singers

The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that they will hold auditions for National Anthem soloists prior to the start of the 2006-2007 season.
The BEARS will have a select number of available dates for soloists in the upcoming season. Local school choruses will perform the National Anthem on the other open dates.
Soloists must initially provide an audio cassette or compact disc containing a rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, God Bless America, and O' Canada. Due to pre-game time restraints each rendition should last no longer then 1 minute and 30 seconds. The BEARS will then contact 10-12 finalists and conduct a live audition in mid-August. The BEARS will be accepting audition tapes through August 1, 2006.
