Bears look to end six game winless streak on the road this week

Hudson Valley Bears News Release


The Hudson Valley Bears are on the road this coming week when they play at Jersey on Friday night and in Danbury on Saturday night. The Bears went 0-2 last week losing 7-2 to Brooklyn on Wednesday (11/26) in Newburgh and 8-4 at Jersey on Saturday night (29th). Hudson Valley is on the road until they play at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, December 13th.

The Bears This Week

Friday 12/5: Hudson Valley (1-6-0) @ Jersey Rockhoppers (4-3-0): (8:00pm)

Saturday 12/6: Hudson Valley @ Danbury Mad Hatters (2-4-1): (7:30pm)

*Saturday Night features, ironically, the Mad Hatters "Teddy Bear Toss" at the Danbury Arena. Fans who attend the game are asked to bring a teddy bear to the game and can toss them on the ice after Danbury's first goal. All Bears that are collected will be donated to a local children's charity.

The Bears hope to be back at full strength this week as a number of players were out of the line-up last week including Scott Estey & Scott Horvath along with recently acquired Jerry Cardinale and Dan Rohanna (both from the Brooklyn Aces).
