A week-long layoff comes to an end as the Hershey Bears host the Milwaukee Admirals in Game 3 of the 2006 Calder Cup Finals tonight (7:00 ET)...

It is the latest calendar date ever for a game in Hershey, where the Bears have gone 6-1 this postseason... To reset, the Admirals took Game 1 of the series last Friday, scoring twice in the first period and holding on for a 2-1 victory... Hershey rebounded the next night, ending Milwaukee's 10-game winning streak with a 6-3 win to even the series at a game apiece... In Calder Cup Finals history, when a best-of-seven series is tied at 1-1, the Game 3 winner has gone on to win the championship 21 of 29 times (72.4 percent)...

Tomas Fleischmann recorded two goals and two assists in Hershey's Game 2 victory, extending his scoring streak to nine games and marking the first four-point effort in a Calder Cup Finals contest since Milwaukee's Simon Gamache had a goal and three assists in the Game 4 clincher in Wilkes-Barre two years ago... Kris Beech also has a point in nine straight for the Bears, and has found the scoresheet in 24 of his 27 games in a Hershey uniform altogether (17g, 20a)... Defenseman Lawrence Nycholat added a goal and two assists in Game 2, his second straight game with a goal after going 31 previous playoff outings without...

Frederic Cassivi is now 13-4 in the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs and has posted 47 victories since opening night, the most by an AHL goaltender since John Grahame won 52 games for Providence over the 1998-99 regular season and playoffs...

Milwaukee is 6-1 on the road this postseason, and has won 10 of its last 12 away from home overall... Darren Haydar had two assists for the Admirals in Game 2, extending his scoring streak to 12 games and taking over the AHL lead with 31 points this postseason... Haydar's 30 goals, 39 assists and 69 points for his Calder Cup Playoff career all now rank in the top 20 all-time... Pekka Rinne had not allowed six goals in any of his 60 appearances this year before Game 2... Simon Gamache picked up a goal and an assist in the loss, giving him 15 points in his last eight games...

Greg Classen's goal in Game 2 was his first playoff marker since Game 4 of the 2004 Finals... Scottie Upshall also scored in the loss, his third straight game with a goal... Jordin Tootoo, who had six goals in his first four playoff games for Milwaukee, has four points (2g, 2a) in seven games since... The Admirals have won six consecutive Game 3's.
