
Bears Extend PDC with Arizona Diamondbacks Through 2012

YAKIMA, Wash. - The Yakima Bears extended their Player Development Contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks through the 2012 season, Bears officials announced Monday.
The Bears have been a farm club of the D-backs since the 2001 season.
"We're extremely pleased to lengthen our relationship with the Diamondbacks," Bears president Mike McMurray said. "In particular, we feel privileged to continue working with [D-backs Farm Director] Mike Berger."
The Bears host the Spokane Indians Monday night at County Stadium for game one of the East Divisional Playoffs.
