Beacons Set To Face The Wings

PORT HURON, MI- The Port Huron Beacons of the United Hockey League (UHL) face-off tonight against Central Division rival Kalamazoo Wings.

The Beacons face-off against the Wings at 7:05 p.m. The Wings currently sit in second place in the Division with 4 pts. With a win tonight the Beacons could move into a tie with the Wings at 4 pts.

The Beacons and Wings played last weekend at Wings Stadium with the Wings coming away with a 4-2 win. The Beacons scored quick and jumped out to a 2-0 lead but eventually let the Wings score four unanswered goals to drop their 3rd game of the season.

Tonight the Beacons will be giving away free poster schedules to the first 2,000 fans. Everyone who enters McMorran Arena will receive the poster schedule to follow the Beacons both home and away. Tonight's giveaway item is sponsored by Goodfellas Grill, Damon's, H.A.C., Birchwood Athletic Club, Backdoor Internet Café and Riverside Printing.

The Coaches show returns to the Brass Rail for another season. Every Monday night from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. Come join host, Dennis Stuckey and Head Coach Rick Adduono, along with different Beacon players each Monday Night throughout the season. Of course if you can't make it down to the Brass Rail you can always listen to the show on AM 1450 and AM 1590 along with every Beacons Home and Road game. Catch the third edition as Stuckey and Head Coach, Rick Adduono recap the weekends action. NOTE: Every child who enters the game tonight in a costume will receive a free ticket to the game courtesy of 96.9, WBTI.
