
Beacons Add Four More Rookies And Two Others To Roster

PORT HURON, MI- The Port Huron Beacons of the United Hockey League (UHL) are proud to announce the signing of six more players to the 2004-05 roster.
Defenseman, Geoff O'Leary, played in 38 games last season with the Eastern Conference Champion Elmira Jackals. O'Leary enters his second season in the UHL after playing four years of NCAA hockey at Elmira College and one season in the ACHL with the Cape Fear Fire Antz.
Center, Malcolm MacMillan, played this past season in the ECHL with three different teams. The Florence Pride, Peoria Rivermen and Cincinnati Cyclones all welcomed MacMillan to their roster. In those 61 games played MacMillan totaled 14 points and 176 PIM's.
Defenseman, Mike Harper, will be starting his first professional season of hockey. Having played last year for the University of Calgary, Harper played in one game tallying 1 point.
Forward, Drew Power, comes to Port Huron after playing last season for the University of Prince Edward Island. In the 19 games he played, Power totaled 3 goals, 3 assists for 6 points and 8 PIM's.
Left Wing, Robbie Colangelo, spent the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons in the OHL with the London Knights. In the 38 games Colangelo has played in the two seasons he has totaled 61 PIM's.
Right Wing, Drew O'Connell, played the last two seasons in the OHL with the Erie Otters. O'Connell, during those two seasons totaled 43 games played.
With the addition of O'Leary, MacMillan, Harper, Power, Colangelo and O'Connell, the Beacons roster expands to 20. Previously the Beacons had signed Aaron Brand, Joe Sewell, Jason Firth, Mat Goody, Josh Tataryn, Jamie Young, Scott Gouthro, David Beauregard, Riku Rahikainen, Mark Lindsay, Ian Jacobs, Chris Sotiropoulos, Chris Cloutier and Chad Dameworth.
