
BeachBoys Blast CaneFires, take Series

Waikiki first baseman David Maroul slammed two home runs and drove in three to push the BeachBoys past the West Oahu CaneFires, 10-4, in last night's series finale at Waipahu's Hans L'Orange Park.
Michael Wilson doubled, tripled and drove in two runs while catcher Michael McKenry went 3-5 on the evening with a home run and two RBIs for the BeachBoys (3-2).
In the loss, Russell Mitchell went 3-4 with three doubles and an RBI. The CaneFires fell to 1-4 on the season.
Both squads have an off day tomorrow as they travel to Maui for a three-game series with one another. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening at Iron Maehara Stadium.
