
BayHawks Make Additional Roster Moves

Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie BayHawks made two additional roster moves today. Erie has traded the returning player rights to Lenzelle Smith to the Delaware 87ers in exchange for John Bohannon. Erie has also traded their own fourth-round pick in the 2016 NBA Development League draft to the Idaho Stampede in exchange for Justin Manns. Both trades are subject to the completion of physicals.
Bohannon is making his return to Erie after appearing in 24 games for Delaware. He is averaging 8.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 56% from the field. Bohannon was initially drafted by the BayHawks prior to the 2014-15 season. He spent the entire season with the BayHawks appearing in 49 games, making six starts while averaging 9.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 24.2 minutes of play. He was traded to the 87ers on November 1st, 2015. Before entering the NBA Development League, Bohannon had a four-year career at University of Texas El-Paso (UTEP). As a senior in 2014, he was voted to Third Team All-Conference USA while averaging 11.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.7 blocks.
Manns was drafted in the second-round of the 2015 NBA Development League draft by the Santa Cruz Warriors and was traded to the Idaho Stampede three days later. In 17 games with the Stampede, Manns is averaging 2.5 points and 1.7 rebounds. Following a three-year career at Kent State University, Manns joined BC Prievidza of Slovakia where he averaged 6.8 points and 3.8 rebounds in 36 games. He split the 2013-14 season between Amchit Club of Lebanon and Ohio Lima Express of the Premier Basketball League. He averaged 10.1 points and 6.2 rebounds between the two teams.
