Erie, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, March 27 - The culmination of a long three days for the BayHawks ended with a win in a game that started almost three weeks ago. In an unusual turn of events, Erie (24-21) was able to complete a game against the Iowa Energy (23-20) that was suspended due to court conditions on March 8. After playing the two previous nights in Dakota, the BayHawks traveled all day and arrived in Erie around 4:00 PM Tuesday afternoon. The game was crucial for both teams, as they fight for playoff position with only two weeks remaining in the regular season.

Today's action kicked off with 3:29 remaining in the first quarter and Erie ahead on the scoreboard, 14-13. The BayHawks quickly went on an 11-4 run to close out the remaining minutes in the first frame and took a 25-18 lead into the second quarter. The two teams battled in the second quarter, keeping the score close before the BayHawks jumped ahead to a 12 point lead at the half.

The intermission provided Erie with an energy boost as they outscored Iowa by 13 in the third stanza, shooting 66.7% and taking a 25 point advantage into the game's final twelve minutes. Erie's hot shooting continued in the fourth quarter as the BayHawks shot 60% from the floor. The BayHawks took their largest lead of the game (29) after a Dominic Calegari three pointer with nine and a half minutes to go in the game. Iowa was able to trim the lead but fell by a final score of 109-87.

The BayHawks were powered by 13 three point shots and had assists on 27 of their 40 baskets. Leading the way for Erie was Joey Graham, who tallied 25 points and six rebounds. Also contributing double figure scoring efforts were Kyle Spain (16 points, 11 rebounds), Mychel Thompson (16), Kyle Goldcamp (15 points, 13 rebounds) and Jeremy Green, who scored 14 points off the bench. Iowa was paced by Mike Efevberha with 22 points. He was helped by Patrick Ewing, Jr. (17), Moses Ehambe (14) and reigning Development League MVP, Curtis Stinson (11).

Erie will welcome the Fort Wayne Mad Ants to town for a weekend set on Friday, March 30 at 7:00 PM. It will be Faith and Family Night at the Tullio Arena, presented by Saint Vincent and WCTL, which will also include a halftime wedding ceremony. Iowa heads home where they will face the Eastern Conference leading Canton Charge.
