ERIE - The NBA Development League Erie BayHawks have announced the signing of free agent guard Quincy Douby. A second year pro, most recently a member of the NBA Sacramento Kings, Douby was added to the roster due to the medical release of Oliver Lafayette.

Position: Guard, Height/Weight: 6-3 / 175 Birth date: May 16, 1984 High School: St. Thomas More Prep (Oakdale, Conn.) College: Rutgers Career Highlights: Douby played shooting guard for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The Sacramento Kings made him the 19th selection of the 2006 NBA Draft. He is said to be the best shooter and possibly the best pure scorer to ever come out of the basketball rich Coney Island. In his junior year, Douby became one of the top guards in the Big East and was named to the All Big-East team. He led the Big East in scoring with 25.4 points a game, becoming the first Rutgers player to lead the Big East in scoring. In addition, he broke the all-time single season scoring record at Rutgers.
