
BayHawks Acquire Stephen Peyser in Trade with Machine

ANNAPOLIS, MD. - The Bayhawks have acquired MLL standout midfielder Stephen Peyser in a trade with the Machine. Ohio will receive the 2015 2nd round Collegiate Draft pick and the 2015 1st round Supplemental Draft pick.
Peyser, a six-year veteran in the league, has played in a total of 70 games, scoring 103 goals and tallying 18 assists. Last season, the 6'2" midfielder from Johns Hopkins played in 13 games for New York where he scored 13 goals and added two assists. Peyser was also named an MLL All-Star and received All-MLL honors in 2011 and was traded to the Machine in November of 2013.
"Stephen has tremendous competitive toughness and is a great teammate," head coach Dave Cottle stated. "He will be out to prove people wrong this season."
Peyser was recently named to the 52-man U.S. Men's National Team training roster to compete at the 2014 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Championships. Peyser, the 4th Overall pick in the 2008 MLL Collegiate Draft, was also a member of the U.S. Men's National Team that won the 2010 FIL World Championships.
