
BayBears celebrate Independence Day Thursday

Mobile, Ala. â The Mobile BayBears will be celebrating Independence Day one day early at Hank Aaron Stadium. The BayBears will be hosting the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx in the finale of their three-game series at Hank Aaron Stadium.
The celebration will have a patriotic theme with all military personnel that come out to The Hank will receive a ticket to the game free of charge with a valid military ID. All military family members will also receive a discounted ticket.
The USS Thunderbolt and the USS Worldwind are both currently docked in Mobile and will be well represented at Hank Aaron Stadium Thursday night. The Keesler and Hurbert Air Force Bases will also be in attendance at The Hank. The Alabama Army National Guard, both active and retired members, will be a part of the festivities as well.
The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive free 3-D glasses to watch the special Independence Day fireworks spectacular in a whole new way. The fireworks, as always, will follow the game featuring patriotic music. The gates will open at 6:00 for the 7:05 game.
