June 13, 2012 - New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL)
New Bedford Bay Sox News Release
NEW BEDFORD, MA (Wednesday, June 13, 2012) - The New Bedford Bay are hosting the Sanford Mainers on Saturday night, June 16th, at 6:30PM, at Paul Walsh Field.
This game is a big opportunity for all of the Little Leagues in the Southcoast region.
All Little League and softball players, parents, family members, and league representatives who attend this game will be helping their league because one-half of the revenue from tickets sold for this game to members of their organization will go back to their leagues to buy helmets, bats, balls, and other equipment.
Little Leaguers are encouraged to wear their uniforms. They will get to run the bases after the game and get autographs from the players.
Spread the word. Come out to the ball game this Saturday night and support your local team, the New Bedford Bay Sox, and your little league or softball team. Dartmouth star pitcher Frank Vilacha is scheduled to be the starting pitcher for the Bay Sox.
