
BattleWings Teaming Up With Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana

BOSSIER CITY, LA (May 22, 2008)- The Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings have partnered with Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana in an effort to raise awareness and provide donations. Fans attending Saturday's game at CenturyTel Center will be able to pick up a Goodwill donation bag as they exit and can return it prior to the BattleWings' game on Saturday, May 31.
"We're asking our fans to donate at least one bag of items for Goodwill," said Director of Ticketing and Community Relations Carmen Fletcher. "If they bring the bag back on the 31st, they'll receive a voucher good for a free ticket to our game on June 7th."
Goodwill Industries will be set up at the CenturyTel Center on Saturday, May 31 ready to accept the donated items.
Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana currently provides services to 26 parishes in North Louisiana, with retail operations in Shreveport, Bossier City, Minden, Haughton, Lakeshore, Natchitoches, Ruston, Monroe, West Monroe, Bastrop, Alexandria and Pineville.
