
BattleWings set Booster Club meeting

Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings News Release
BOSSIER CITY, La (December 10, 2007)- The Bossier-Shreveport BattleWings will host a Booster Club meeting Tuesday, December 11 at 6:00PM at Brother's Seafood, 500 Clyde Fant Parkway in Shreveport. The BattleWings enter their eighth season in arenafootball2 with their home-opener March 29th at the CenturyTel Center against the Central Valley Coyotes.
"Our fans were so important to us last year," commented head coach Jon Norris. "Having an active, enthusiastic Booster Club is the logical next step."
All interested fans are invited to the initial meeting Tuesday night where bylaws will be discussed and officers will be installed. Additionally, the group will outline their goals and ideas for the upcoming season.
"We're just over three months away from the kickoff of our first game," added general manager Butch Bellah. "It's never too early to get started."
