Snohomish County Explosion News Release
The Everett Explosion will take on the southwest league leaders Salem Stampede this evening starting at 7:00pm in what could be a preview of post season play for the IBL
How good is Everett? With an expansion team that is 4-1 with the one loss coming with 3 seconds left in the game at Colorado, the Explosion will get a chance to see what is needed to make a post season run.
"Tonight I will see if we have all the pieces in place for a winning team in Everett. I like what we have added to the team with Marco Morgan at center and the team is really starting to come together," General Manager Nathan Mumm commented on after Monday's practice.
The Explosion has been a huge success with the first game attendance at 3,777 with an opening home win against Vancouver. The Explosion has been a great success for a first year expansion team. Everett has been ranked as high as 4th on the Massey Ratings and has a potential IBL MVP candidate in Rashaad Powell who will be taking the court this evening.
