
Battle Of The Bats Update

After weeks 8 and 9 of the NPF Battle of the Bats competition, Kate Robinson (Racers) is nowing sharing first-place honors with Samantha Findlay (Bandits) and Oli Keohohou (Glory) all with 15 homeruns on behalf of WILSON/DEMARINI and Sara Larquier (Glory) with 15 homeruns on behalf of WORTH.
WILSON/DEMARINI has maintained its first place position throughout the competition and now has a grand total of 73 homeruns.
WORTH has a total of 62 homeruns and in addition to Larquier's four homeruns in week 8, both Tonya Callahan (Thunder) and Kristen Butler (Racers) also added two homeruns in week 9.
DSC_7765.JPGAngelena Mexicano, pictured left for the Racers contributed four homeruns in week 9 on behalf of COMBAT followed by Nicole Trimboli (Bandits) and Jessica Moore (Glory) each with one homerun. COMBAT now has a total of 43 homeruns for the season.
MIZUNO has a total of 35 homeruns for the season with four contributed by Jaime Clark (Bandits) and Veronica Wootson (Racers) and one by Courtney Bures (Glory) in weeks 8 and 9. Clark also holds the honor of 2nd place for the competition, but she must surpass the four 1st place competitors to take the lead.
Following the last week of regular season competition, of the four teams that qualify for the NPF Championship Series in Kimberly, Wisconsin, the top two scoring hitters for each of the top three manufacturers will participate in a final round of competition during FanFest on Thursday, August 21st at Sunset Park in Kimberly.
The individual winner will be the hitter with the most home runs for the entire competition and will walk away with bragging rights and a cash prize of $1,000.
