Philadelphia, PA (April 10, 2006) - The Philadelphia Barrage of Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced today their partnership with Wayne Sporting Goods.
On the back of select 2006 home tickets, Wayne Sporting Goods will offer discounts at their store. The ticket bearer can bring in their Barrage ticket stub to redeem the discount. Wayne Sporting Goods will also be an official carrier of 2006 Barrage merchandise. A full line of Barrage merchandise will be available in stores, including jerseys and helmets.
Philadelphia opens their season on May 20 at historic Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, followed by five games at Villanova University. Season tickets are on sale now. About the Philadelphia Barrage
The Philadelphia Barrage are members of Major League Lacrosse, a six-team professional outdoor lacrosse league. The Barrage moved to Philadelphia prior to the 2004 MLL season and proceeded to win the organization's first MLL Championship at the 2004 New Balance Major League Lacrosse Championship Game.
