Barrage fell to Lizards Saturday Night

The Philadelphia Barrage took on the Long Island Lizards Saturday night in front of 3,012 fans at Villanova Stadium. The Barrage got off to a tough start with the Lizards getting a 4-0 lead. Philadelphia fought back bringing them within one goal of the Lizards at the end of the first quarter. The Barrage couldn't get ahead of the Lizards all night. They scored four goals in the second bringing them up to 8 while the Lizards scored six goals bringing them to 11 entering half-time. In the second half of play, the Barrage tried for a come back but the Lizards were one step ahead. At the end of the third quarter, the Barrage were down by three goals leaving the score Philadelphia 12, Long Island 15. In the fourth quarter, the Lizards held the Barrage to only two goals and allowing Long Island to sweep the game. The final score was Philadelphia 14, Long Island 19. The Barrage see game action again this Sunday against the Baltimore Bayhawks at 4:00 p.m. at Johnny Unitas Stadium at Towson University.

Barrage Practice

Come out to practice TONIGHT at 8 p.m. to see the Barrage prepare to take on lacrosse legend Gary Gait along with the rest of the Bayhawks this Sunday (June 12) at 4:00 p.m. Practice is from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Villanova Stadium. Come see the new college draft picks play for the first time with the Barrage. Players will be available for autographs and pictures after the practice session is over.

Lacrosse Evolution

It's Simple...We're local Lax guys making a difference in the lacrosse community. Our goal is to enhance player's skills, from beginner to the collegiate level by developing them, not only physically, but mentally as well. With our staff of High School, College, and Professional players and coaches, we feel we have what it takes to make a difference! Tom Slate and Brian Dougherty have pulled their knowledge, skills and love of the game to start their own company, Lacrosse Evolution. With a little help from their event manager, Mary Fran Stepek, the team has been able focus their energies to establish a solid foundation. For the upcoming summer they are focused on five different lacrosse offerings. One of the largest and most popular events is the Evolution Games. This is three day boys, high school recruiting event on July 15-17th where some of the top college lacrosse coaches will in attendance. Some of their events and products include The Brian Dougherty Goalie School for Girls and Boys, Ocean City New Jersey camp and the E flash Play book online animated playbook.
