LAKELAND, Fla. - The Jacksonville Barracudas wrapped up three games in three nights winning their fourth in a row tonight 7-4 over the Lakeland Loggerheads
After falling behind 3-0 late in the second period, the Barracudas rallied with three goals in a span of 1:52 from Chris Hackett, Jamie Miller and Klage Kaebel to tie it up. The Barracudas poured it on in the third with goals from Jamie Miller, Klage Kaebel, Mike Johnson, and John McCabe.
Cudas defenseman Mike Johnson keeps his scoring streak alive with two points (1g-1a) and 13 points in his last six games (2g-11a). Klage Kaebel scored seven goals in his last four games, while line-mate Chris Hackett has nine points in his last four games (4g-5a).
Tonight's win moves the Barracudas (7-2-0, 14 pts.) into first place in the WHA2, one point ahead of Orlando (6-3-1, 13 pts.).
The Barracudas are off until Friday when they host the Alabama Slammers. Face-off time is 7:05. The first 3000 fans receive free Thundersticks compliments of Atlantic Bay Mortgage. On Saturday, the Barracudas host the Lakeland Loggerheads. Face-off time is 7:05 and it's Jr. Barracudas Night. On Sunday, the Barracudas start a six game road trip as they travel to Lakeland. Face-off time is 7:05.
