Then with 4:47 left in the second period, John McCabe scored his first goal of the season, poking in a rebound off a Jamie Miller shot. Derek Toninato picked up the other assist and the Barracudas went into the second intermission up 3-2.

In the third period, Jamie Miller picked up his second goal of the game, and the eventual game winner, when he picked up a rebound in the slot and backhanded it past the Macon's Kollar.
