Barracudas Announce 2007-08 Season Schedule

(Jacksonville, FL) The Jacksonville Barracudas will play their first regular season game at their new home facility, Jacksonville Ice, on Saturday, November 3rd, 2007 at 5:00 PM against the Columbus Cottonmouths. The game opens the Barracudas' fourth season in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), and has them looking to return to the SPHL's Championship Final, as they did in the 2006-07 season.
The Barracudas will begin the season on the road against the Twin Cities Cyclones, Thursday, October 25th, at 7:30PM. The game will mark the return of professional hockey to the Winson-Salem, North Carolina area, which has been without a team since the 2004-05 season.
Barracudas fans will enjoy a home schedule heavily weighted on the weekend, with games at Jacksonville Ice played on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings. Thursday and Friday night games will begin at 7:00PM, while Saturday and Sunday games will start at 5:00PM.
The Barracudas' move to the Jacksonville Ice facility will allow the team to offer more exciting, creative promotions at each and every game. The specific promotions will be announced as the season approaches, however Jacksonville sports fans can expect fun promotions involving concession and beverage pricing, along with great in-game entertainment.
The Barracudas are currently selling season ticket packages for the 07-08 season. Single-game tickets will go on sale later in the summer, but fans are encouraged to purchase a season ticket or 10-game package to ensure they have a seat for their favorite promotion.
